In the meantime, I thought I'd play around with my photo program and see if I could make a slide show of flowers over the years from my garden. Turn up the volume and make it full screen to get the full effect....
I hope this helps tide you over until Spring comes to your part of the country.
Cathy that was wonderful! I love the music too! That must have taken you some time...it was well worth it, your flowers are stunning.
ReplyDeleteOnce you select the photos and music the program does the rest. It takes a while to export the slideshow, though, so there's some waiting involved.
DeleteA lovely two minutes, Cathy! Things around here are still mostly mushy and brown but some green is finally beginning to seep through the mush. I love the colors in your garden too. All the purples and pinks and whites! Exactly what I'd have in a garden - if I had a house that is. Do you have mostly perennials or annuals?

DeleteMostly perennials. I buy annuals for my pots each year. It was 80 degrees yesterday and will be that warm again this weekend. It will help green things up, but I sure hope it doesn't stay that warm. What will summer be like?!
God knows. If weather lore is to be believed, particularly-frigid Winters are usually followed by especially-roasty Summers. If that happens this year, I think it will be one more nail in the coffin of Global Warming, which is supposed to mean more extreme temps in both seasons.
DeleteBravo! Well done, Cathy; thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Elaine. I'm glad you enjoyed my little slideshow.
DeleteJust beautiful, Cathy. I enjoyed it. Hope things are going well !!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Dotsie....do you mean with the baby? She had a touch of jaundice so stayed till evening in the hospital on Friday. They are home now adjusting to parenthood. We hope to see her next weekend.
DeleteYour garden is just beautiful, Cathy. I enjoyed my visit very much---Spring is exploding around here now. That makes me happy, but tired---as a gardener, I'm sure you know what I mean! ♥
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed. We spent all day planting 4 trees and 6 bushes. Ken did the digging I did the planting.
