It Was a Very Good Year - 2015

As we come to the end of 2015 I want to thank everyone who followed Morning Musings this year.  I've appreciated your comments.... I feel I truly have friends out there in Blogland.  I hope you will enjoy this condensed version of some of my favorite moments. . . .

  2. Outstanding! A great review and I recognized a lot of it which made you feel like an old friend to me. I'd say there was a "star " of the show…but soon there will be more. Wishing you much joy in the new year.

    1. ❤️Happy New Year, Dotsie! I'm glad you feel like an old friend! Yes, Olivia needs someone to take some of the limelight before she realizes just how cute she is.

  4. Podso stole my adjective - outstanding! LOL. Being a news junkie, I've probably seen 100 versions of the "year in review" over the last couple of weeks, including all those sad memoriams with all those who left us this year, where I'm always surprised by the people whose passings I totally missed. But yours was - hands down - my favorite. Between the photo subjects and the music, it was terrific. I hope you do many more in the future - a great job. So move over, Steven Spielberg! PS - who was the musical artist? I want to download this version of 'Auld Lang Syne' from iTunes - it's just beautiful. Oh and again, a very happy and healthy 2016 to all! 🍾🍾🍾 ❤️

    1. ❤️Happy New Year, Janet! If you click on the YouTube icon at the bottom of the slideshow it will take you to YouTube where I've put the information about the music in the description. Thank you for your accolade! Olivia's Daddy aspired to be a filmmaker (that was his degree), but found it too hard to break into the business so went with his other skills. My second son got his first degree as a musician but, again, had to go with his other skills to get a good-paying job. Too bad the days of Patron of the Arts are long gone.

    2. That's true. My niece loves doing art but also wants skills she can actually earn a living with - and she's still undecided about what that will be. But with your boys' talents, just think of the wonderful videos you'll have of your grandchildren in the future, and the music to go along with them. And with the Internet, I have to add - who knows what could happen? These days more and more people are getting noticed by just uploading their work online. It's never been easier to reach a lot of people - and quickly too. So who knows? ⭐️
