A year ago this week we were on Martha's Vineyard. It was such a wonderful experience that I wanted to share it again with you. Click on the highlighted titles to go to my original post.... Martha's Vineyard Carriage House
Cathy, thanks for the look back in time; I enjoyed it as much the second time around! The future of the lighthouse in Aquinnah was the topic of a news report recently; it will be very sad if it cannot be saved, and very costly if it can. I suspect that you are following along with Susan and Joe's book tour journey, as am I. The book is a pure delight, and I'm hopeful of a signing event near me if possible.
Hi Sharon! Yes, I am following along on Susan's trip. I wonder if she'll head south in our direction or not since the book is selling so well. She really doesn't need to promote it. I'm planning to go to the Gladys Taber reunion next year so I'll be sure to meet her there. Thanks again for your kind words about my posts. I love being able to share it again.
Hello Cathy! I had such a pleasant time seeing and reading about your vacation in Martha's Vineyard last year. I'm new to your blog [found you from Susan Branch's blog [I'm "Janet from Rochester"]. The little cottage you rented was exactly what I would have wanted myself - what a SUBLIME week you and your husband had! And of course now I'm hooked. Can't wait to read through your archived blogs. Well, just wanted to drop you this quick note - reading about your time on the islands was next best thing to being there myself. Thanks for re-posting it! And have a great week!
