As I walk into the Arbor garden I am careful to be quiet and to stay as far away from Mrs. Cardinal as I can. She's made her nest in the Silver Lace Vine....
There she is....
Then I notice a flash of red and zoom in on Mr. Cardinal outside the Arbor, no doubt keeping an eye on me....
I stop to admire the Bleeding Heart...so delicate....
Then I turn my camera to capture the Dogwood in the distance....
I continue my walk....
I see a hummingbird just above the Dogwood but cannot snap the photo quick enough, so I settle for my peacock....
I turn to capture the view behind me....
Then towards the allée....
I am not surprised to find deer in our woods....
I wander through the yard....I love how the white flowers are accented in the mist....
And how mysterious it looks off in the distance....
It's beginning to do more than mist. I notice Gabriel. He is patiently awaiting my return....
Now I must content myself with the view from my desk....
UPDATE: Mr. & Mrs. Cardinal announce the arrival of two new babies....
Oh my, Cathy ... your garden and surrounding views are just beautiful; this post and accompanying music is simply blissful. Thank you so much for sharing.
