This arrangement was created with chicken wire stapled to a shallow box, filled with dirt and then moss covering it to hold it all in, so it can be hung on a wall. Succulents like Hens & Chicks are tucked through the wire....
This hanging frame is built around a special container that has a lid on top for watering. It's for larger plants....
An Easter arrangement in a wheel barrow....
A child's wagon makes a wonderful container for plants....
Old ladders tucked into a garden helps to raise the flowers to a new level....
Now I know what to do with this exact same wicker form I bought in a yard sale a few years ago. This artist attached real flowers to a dress to make this arrangement....
A fishing creel, boots....and a fishing pole adds the finishing touch....
Another Easter arrangement....
I love this color combination and the nest of eggs and peacock feathers gives it flare....
Simple....but the intense colors really speak to me....
That is water bubbling out of the top of the boulder. You could have this in your yard, along with the small pond it empties into for $4,000....
I cropped this photo so you could see the egg shell "pots" holding the miniature daffodils, crocus, and pansies....
They made a bunting using seed packets....
Those are Peeps inside the clear glass vase holding the tulips. You put the flowers in a smaller container and fill the area around it with the Peeps. How clever....
The Asparagus grass under the swan softens the hard edges of the container and column....
The gourd giraffes were darling....
When I saw the price on these I said "I can make that!" So, we'll see. If I do, I'll be sure to show you....
What a fun show to attend! I'd love walking though slowly and gazing at all the arrangements. I think I like the flower dress the most.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's always refreshing to see a bit of color this time of year!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful show of colour, so uplifting when outside is not behaving as it should! I love the bunting from seed packets. Thank you for sharing your day out!
