We were away for a few days and came home to changes in the garden. The roses on the arbor, for the most part, have faded. But there has been a new burst of flowers!
The promised lilies...
And the Clematis have added their beauty to the honeysuckle...
The Foxglove and Lupine....
And Peonies...
The lavender is fragrant and exquisite...
And attracts the bees and butterflies...
The daisies self-seed every year anywhere they please...
Penstemon stands proudly at the end of the row...
I had to add Gabriel's picture with the Snapdragons...
Yesterday I spent the afternoon deadheading the faded flowers and building this stone terrace for my bistro set...
The vinca is coming along nicely...
As is the Coreopsis...
